Design a Squishy
What's better then playing with squishies? Customizing your own here at the library, with paint, sparkles and more! Call the library to register a spot to come and decorate a tasty treat or dinosaur squishy. All supplies will be provided

Creation of the Quabbin Reservoir
Local author J.R. Greene will provide a narrated historical slide program on the Boston water supply and the lost Towns. This talk includes information on the Ware River diversion; including the areas known as White Valley, Coldbrook and West Rutland. This program is co-hosted by the Barre Historical Society and Museum.
Come early! Light refreshments will be served before the presentation, beginning at 6 p.m.

Ghosts & Legends with Jeff Belanger
Come explore the haunts around the world and those in your own back yard! For more than 25 years, Jeff Belanger has been chronicling the unexplained. He brings different stories every time he offers this program, so no two are the same. This multi-media adventure draws from Jeff's research in his books, podcasts, adventures, and the various television shows that he’s worked on. Join one of New England’s premiere storytellers for a trip through the unusual and the unexplained. There will also be a Q&A and book signing.

A Beginner’s Journey Through The Tarot
Are you interested in learning more about Tarot cards? Using the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck, this class will feature an overview of the cards and their history with a focus on the Major Arcana.

2nd Annual Costume Swap
Who's already getting excited for Halloween? I know we are!
Every year, thousands of new Halloween Costumes are purchased and are often made from polyester or other synthetic plastic fibers. And every year, huge numbers of these costumes are thrown away, doomed to end up in a land fills.
But have no fear! Join us for our 2nd annual costume swap here at the Library!
Come with a clean, gently used costume or accessory and leave with a costume that is new-to-you!

Clay Monster Class
Come make a monster out of low-fire clay
with Moe from Fire and Hand Clay! Each participant will be given a ball of clay to make as many or as few monsters as possible. We'll decorate with, stamps, various household utensils, leaves, or flowers to leave impressions, then glaze our monsters.
