Guided forest bathing is a gentle and relaxing practice that restores our connection with ourselves and the landscape around us. Take time out for yourself, for this very special opportunity to connect with others and experience forest bathing together in a group led by certified forest therapy guide and award-winning author, Nadine Mazzola. Awaken the joy and awe of nature and within. This class will consist of a series of gentle activities (invitations) that allow participants to use their five senses to engage with nature. This is not a physically-demanding class. Activities are low-impact and slow-paced and cover short distances.
We will meet at Cook’s Canyon, 119 South St, Barre. Please arrive by 9:45am as we will get started at 10:00am sharp.
*PLEASE NOTE* Parking might be tricky. There is a small lot on location with a few spots. The Barre Farmers Market will also be happening on the Common that morning so parking around the Common might be scarce as well. Please plan ahead and leave plenty of time to find parking and reach the trailhead by 9:45am.
Registration is required. Please call or email the library to sign up. An email address will be needed in order to receive a welcome message from Nadine prior to the event.
