Introduction to Portrait Drawing (Class I)

Would you like to learn how to draw portraits of family and friends? Using simple diagrams to start, this free beginner's drawing class will develop your observational skills while focusing on the how-to's of drawing human faces, their structure, shape, and individual features. We'll be using classic drawing materials - soft pencils, charcoal, and Conte crayons.

This is a 4-part workshop series. These sessions will be held on Thursday evenings in September. We ask that participants make an effort to attend all four classes.

FREE, Ages 16+. Materials provided.
Registration required, space is limited.
Please contact us by phone at (978) 355-2533 or email barrelibrary@gmail.com to register.

* An additional session on September 30 will be added if needed.
